February 13 – Usėnai
Meeting–discussion with actor Giedrius Savickas: “How Does Freedom Develop Through Art?”

12:00 PM – open discussion about creativity, themes of identity in artistic works, and the importance of freedom and civic engagement in art.

Location: Assembly hall of Usėnai Primary School (Usėnų pagrindinė mokykla), Jazminų St. 3, Usėnai (Jazminų g. 3, Usėnai).

February 13 – Saugos
“Thank You: Love for the Word, the Person, and Freedom” – commemoration of the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania and an evening of gratitude.

6:00 PM – event in the hall of Jurgis Mikšas Primary School in Saugos (Saugų J. Mikšo pagrindinė mokykla).

Participants:
Women’s vocal ensemble “Vakarė” (leader Danguolė Žilionienė),
evening musician Juozas Pleikys.

February 13 – Žemaičių Naumiestis
“The Secret of Žemaičių Naumiestis” – commemoration of the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania.

5:00–7:00 PM – event at the Žemaičių Naumiestis Cultural Center (Žemaičių Naumiesčio kultūros centras).

Presentation of the partially funded project of the Ministry of the Republic of Lithuania “Reflections of Historical Events in Žemaičių Naumiestis.” Museum specialist Saulius Sodonis will present long-collected archival material on the town’s history.

After the presentation, visitors will be invited to recall the most beautiful moments of the arts and traditions festival “Mykolas Bridges” (Mykolo tiltai) — video report by Julius Macnoris. Immediately afterward, the audience will hear a concert program by opera soloist Aistė Pilibavičiūtė and accompanist Nijolė Baranauskaitė.

February 14 – Juknaičiai
Commemoration of the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania.

1:00 PM – commemoration near the Juknaičiai Cultural Center (Juknaičių kultūros centras).

Participants: dance group “Juknaičiai”, Juknaičiai band “Alka.”

February 16 – Usėnai
Traditional checkers tournament “Play a Game for Lithuania” (Sulošk partiją už Lietuvą).

11:00 AM – tournament and program events.

Program:
Folk artist Birutė Servienė (Rusnė) will present part of the Lithuania Minor national costume — an authentic personal shawl with embroidered overlay.

Concert program by the Usėnai eldership community women’s vocal ensemble “Smiltė” (leader Dalia Svirskaitė).

Location: Usėnai branch of the F. Bajoraitis Public Library of Šilutė (Šilutės F. Bajoraičio viešoji biblioteka), Jazminų St. 3, Usėnai (Jazminų g. 3, Usėnai).

Events are open and public. Filming and photography will take place.

February 16 – Rusnė
“Yellow. Green. Red.”

12:00 PM – event in the courtyard of the Rusnė Cultural Center (Rusnės kultūros centras).

Program:
Commemoration of the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania,
alley of tricolor installations,
concert by Nido Pečko,
lunch, conversations, and time together.
