Bridge over the Atmata River

The first drawbridge over the Atmata River was built in 1914, but it was blown up by the retreating German army in 1944. It was a two-arch Peters Bridge, remains of which still exist today.
Until 1974, residents of Rusnė used a ferry for crossing. After 60 years, a reinforced concrete bridge was built – 333 meters long, 10 meters wide, and 15 meters high.
