Opening Concert of the Kintai Music Festival “Resonances of the Present”
On June 5, 2026, at 7:00 PM, the opening concert of the Kintai Music Festival, “Resonances of the Present”, will take place at the Kintai Great Church.
The concert will present young generation creators actively working within New York’s contemporary music scene. The festival opening will bring together composers from Europe, Asia, and North America, while their music will be performed by the Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra – one of the most dynamic professional chamber orchestras in Lithuania.
The program will feature four premieres as well as a work by internationally acclaimed New York-based composer Žibuoklė Martinaitytė.
