Comedy Drama “The Specials” – Šilutė Soroptimos Club Project “Let’s Grow Together” („Draug(e)aukime“)

Šilutė Soroptimos Club invites you to an event held as part of the project “Let’s Grow Together” („Draug(e)aukime“).

On October 10, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., a free film screening will take place at the Šilutė Cultural Center (Šilutės kultūros centras): the comedy drama “The Specials” („Ypatingieji“).

The film explores the challenges faced by people with autism and their environment.

About the film:
Trying to provide missing support for people with autism, Bruno and Malik involve young people from socially disadvantaged families in their program. After learning essential skills, these youths become caregivers, assistants, and friends of people with autism. The film’s characters face numerous challenges and surprising discoveries, becoming witnesses to the power of human kindness that overcomes all obstacles.
