„Marių šventė“ in Kintai

On June 14, 2025, the “Marių šventė” will take place in Kintai. This is the annual festival of Kintai eldership communities, this year dedicated to the 320th anniversary of Kintai church and school.

11:00 a.m. Holy Mass for the Day of Mourning and Hope, choir “Laudamus” concert in the Great Church of Kintai.

12:00 p.m. street performance “Quintetto della Morte / Death Quintet” in the street between the church and Vydūnas Cultural Center.

12:00–7:00 p.m. open doors at the “Kintai Arts” residence (visits to spaces and exhibitions)

1:00 p.m. Kintai sports and games school in the town square. Registration from 12:00 p.m.
Family competitions, 3×3 basketball, volleyball, orienteering game “Discover Kintai”, animators “Entertainment Patrol”, “Wooden Game Corner”, educational and entertainment activities for children, “Craftsmen’s Market”, etc.

3:00 p.m. children’s and youth musical hour. Performers from Kintai, Dituva, Kretinga.

4:30 p.m. exhibition presentation “Klaipėda Region: Sketches, Landscapes” in Kintai Small Church.

5:00 p.m. competition results, awards.

6:00 p.m. greetings to the festival participants.
Nomination of Honorary Citizen of Kintai.
Concert of coastal region groups “Echoes of the Lagoon”.
Participants: amateur art groups from Šilutė, Klaipėda districts, and Klaipėda city.

9:00 p.m. evening concerts. Laura Remeikienė, “Mažasis chameleonas”, and Rolandas Janušas.

10:00 p.m. concert by the group “Džentelmenai”.

The event will be filmed and photographed for publicity purposes.
