We invite you to embark on a journey from the old \u0160ilokar\u010dema \u2013 the place where everything began with a tavern. You will dive into the history of how the old taverns of towns and villages were replaced by restaurants and hotels. During this tour, you will hear piquant stories about the everyday life of old inns, see the buildings where travelers once bustled, and discover how the city of \u0160ilut\u0117 was born from a small tavern. You will be surprised to learn that in pre-war \u0160ilut\u0117, there were several times more places to eat, have a snack, or host formal events than today.Of the hotels that existed in the first half of the 20th century (between 4 and 8), the most famous and luxurious were \u201cGermania\u201d, \u201cKaiserhofhotel\u201d, Hotel \u201cDeims\u201d, \u201cZur Post\u201d, \u201cVictoria Hotel\u201d, \u201cVilla Werden\u201d, and \u201cKronprinz Hotel\u201d. Hotel \u201cGermania\u201d offered not only central heating and garages but also tempted guests with first-class cuisine, fine drinks, modernly equipped rooms, plumbing facilities, a representative hall, and a private club room. Because of these amenities, it became a common place for high society events and various society gatherings. In addition to these luxurious hotels, several smaller hotels and guesthouses also operated in \u0160ilut\u0117. <\/p>\n\n
