Construction of the church began in 1865. The church is rectangular, built in a Gothic-Romanesque style, with a single tower and a pentagonal apse. Inside, trapezoid-shaped wooden ceilings were designed, and a small altar was surrounded on three sides by spacious galleries. In 1883, a 16-register, bright-toned pipe organ was installed. Two bronze bells were placed in the massive 36-meter-high tower.
During the war, the church was damaged and later converted into a grain warehouse. In 1993, the church was returned to the Lutherans.
