The rectangular, red-brick church with a small tower was built over three years. It is tall and massive. The consecration ceremony took place only on October 9, 1857. The single-nave church with an apse, decorated by an artist, featured a combined altar-pulpit, spacious galleries, a 14-register organ, and one bell.    <br>Although the building suffered some damage during wartime, the people were able to repair it fairly easily. Evangelical Lutheran services are currently held there.<br>In 1947, the Chapel in the Evangelical Lutheran Church cemetery was converted into the St. Casimir Catholic Church.
