The current manor house was built by Count Aleksandras Plater. At his wife’s initiative, the planting of the park began. The manor ensemble was developed between 1880 and 1897.
The Vilk\u0117nai manor house is a two-story Neo-Renaissance building with a simple, symmetrical layout and a tower. The main fa\u00e7ade features a portico with four masonry columns, while the rear fa\u00e7ade has a balcony.
To give the building elegance and lightness, the architect designed a decorative pediment with a cut-out silhouette above the risalits, incorporating the Plater family coat of arms.
The park, created in a scenic and hilly landscape, belongs to the group of mixed-composition parks.
In 1993, the manor and park were returned to Plater heiress Laim\u0117 Felicija Platerien\u0117.
