The Uostadvaris Lighthouse is a regular octagonal structure with green-glazed bricks adorning its edges and red brick masonry walls. Inside, spiral concrete stairs lead to the lantern room, which opens onto a viewing platform. The lighthouse stands 18 meters tall.
Built between 1873 and 1876 across from the mouth of the Minija River, the lighthouse is connected to the keeper\u2019s residential building. Though no longer used for navigation, it is now a technical heritage monument and serves as a wonderful observation tower for the Rusn\u0117 and Minija surroundings.
Right next to the lighthouse is a water lifting station built in 1907, featuring a steam turbine designed to pump excess water from the meadows into the Atmata River. It was the first structure of its kind in Lithuanian territory. The station is not only a technical monument but also architecturally significant. It has been restored and now houses the \u0160ilut\u0117 Polders Museum. <\/p>
