The homestead houses a rich collection of old, now unused items: fishing and household tools, furniture, work instruments, clothing, and more. Learning the stories and purposes of each would take considerable time. This homestead is over 200 years old.<br>The purpose of the ethnographic homestead is to transport present and future generations interested in the island\u2019s past back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
