font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; font-family: Jost, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; white-space: normal; text-align: justify;\"><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Im Dorf Laukst\u0117nai, an der Stra\u00dfe \u017demai\u010di\u0173 Naumiestis\u2013Gardamas\u2013\u0160v\u0117k\u0161na, steht ein Gedenkstein mit der Inschrift:<br>&#8222;In dieser Gegend von \u0160v\u0117k\u0161na, Gardamas und \u017demai\u010di\u0173 Naumiestis wurde um 1510 Martynas Ma\u017evydas geboren, der Autor des ersten litauischen Buches. Dieser Gedenkstein wurde am 7. Mai 2001 enth\u00fcllt und markiert (vermutlich) den Geburtsort des Autors.&#8220;    <br>Ma\u017evydas verfasste, erstellte und ver\u00f6ffentlichte die ersten sechs litauischen B\u00fccher und Heftchen. Alle wurden in K\u00f6nigsberg herausgegeben.
