April 1918 nahm das \u0160ilokar\u010dema Gymnasium-Lyzeum seine T\u00e4tigkeit auf. Es wurde nach Johann Gottfried Herder benannt. 1926 legte die erste Abiturientenklasse ihre Pr\u00fcfungen ab.<br>1928 wurde ein Komitee zur Planung eines neuen Schulgeb\u00e4udes gebildet. Das Grundst\u00fcck stellte der Gutsbesitzer Hugo Scheu zur Verf\u00fcgung, der Entwurf stammte vom \u0160ilut\u0117er Architekten Kurt Gutknecht. Am 11. Oktober 1930 wurde das neue Herder-Gymnasium feierlich er\u00f6ffnet.<br>Das Herder-Gymnasium in \u0160ilut\u0117 bestand bis zum Herbst 1944. Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde im Geb\u00e4ude zun\u00e4chst die \u0160ilut\u0117 I Gymnasium, sp\u00e4ter eine Mittelschule untergebracht.
